The noise standard in the hall is usually lower than concert halls, theaters and conference halls’. For ordinary theaters, the noise level is 40dBA, and the noise evaluation curve is NR-35; for multi-channel stereo theaters, it is 35dBA, and the noise evaluation curve is NR-30.
In principle, the reverberation time of the auditorium of the movie theater, regardless of the type of theater, should adopt strong sound absorption short reverberation and straight reverberation frequency characteristics, in order to make the film recording true. However, taking it into account that the different requirements for reverberation of mono-channel ordinary theaters and multi-channel stereo theaters, as well as the difference in the volume of the auditorium. Therefore, the reverberation time should have different standards with the volume. Considering the practical difficulties of controlling the low frequency reverberation time, it is usually allowed to have a certain improvement (relative to the intermediate frequency 500 ~ 1000Hz); while the high frequency reverberation time, due to the sound absorption in the air, and the audience and sound absorbing materials on the high frequency The actual situation is too strong and low.
